Kiwi Adventure was founded in 1997 by a group of individuals who were passionate about introducing others to the outdoors in a safe and fun environment.
The Trust has a strong mandate to develop young people through challenge and adventure and this led to the development of the GO-4-12 Youth Adventure Racing in 2006.
In 2007 this event became the New Zealand Secondary Schools Adventure Racing Championships and attracts up to 200 amazing Young People who along with racing are learning important lessons about themselves and others.
The Trust’s History is rich in stories of young people having life changing experiences through the camps, programmes, events and the work we do with community.
To positively impact this generation and the next through the medium of challenge and adventure activities.
To provide quality adventure experiences for people of all ages with a focus on young people. Helping them to develop their confidence and learn important skills that will enable them to contribute more positively in our society.
Everyone is important and should have the opportunity to learn and grow as individuals and to strive to be their best.
Everyone can benefit from challenge and the difference between living and existing is risk.
All should have the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities regardless of their backgrounds or their physical and mental capacities.
All programmes and events should be fun, safe and challenging.
Our belief is that every programme should be Safe, Fun and Educational.
