 Go Climbing
Come and try out indoor climbing at our exciting climbing wall
in West Quay, Ahuriri. From as young as 4 with no upper age limit,
Kiwi Adventure Company can train you up in about 10 minutes with
basic safety skills and then let you go explore the place. The
only limitation is how far you want to push yourself. There are
over 50 climbs available ranging from 5.0m to 12m.
We cater for all skill levels from the absolute beginner to
the veteran climber. All climbs are graded so you can assess your
skill level and attempt climbs that will suit your ability. There
is absolutely no experience necessary as we have climbs as easy
as going up a ladder to real hum-dingers that will test any veteran
climber. No matter what your experience we will get you up the
wall.
Our staff will give you sufficient instruction to ensure you
are familiar with all the safety equipment and can climb independently
and safely. They will always be at hand if you need assistance.
And it's complete value for money. Your entry fee includes harness
hire and is valid for the whole day and you can come and go as
you please. Park yourself up in the café for lunch and
then have another go on a full stomach.

Options
Abseil off the 9m high abseil tower. (Available by booking only)
Gear Lists (what to wear and bring)
Comfortable loose fitting clothing is best and sandshoes (we require
all customers to be wearing shoes).
Dresses or skirts are not recommended.
Safety Issues (Age Limits, medical conditions)
It takes two people to climb, one up the wall and another acting
as the anchor person (belayer) keeping the climber safe. The anchor
person (belayer) must be over 12 years old. Staff will be constantly
monitoring you . A safety lesson is included in the entry fee
and will cover the basic safety skills to get you going. Staff
will always be watching you and are on hand should you require
assistance.
Special Conditions
All climbers are required to sign a risk disclosure/release
form before climbing.
